epic

epic is doing a 3/4 spring clean of my side of the room, installing the pretty lights from bkk on the wall and stupidly touching the (sigh, very very hot) tungsten bulb in the red/black lamp that shines like a halloween pumpkin.

okay i take back my words. maybe what’s really epic is doing all the above, despite having a 2000-word report that i should complete by monday AND monday’s meeting to plan for.

or perhaps, epic is the very expensive Dim Sum Dollies show we’re going to catch in 13 hours time!!

no.

epic is brutally throwing away little things that have over-sized (but futile) memories attached to them. how sadly and terribly epic. in the words of Hugh Grant from Four Weddings and A Funeral, ‘that is a tragedy’.

but of course, we recover quickly. most of the time.

roaming around singapore with D was awesome. and tiring. towards the end, we were contemplating the possibility of knees protesting loudly in the train, or our soles deciding to quit moving until we found a seat. we laugh. and we continue walking (:

if there’s anything about PA i’d miss, it’s this.

& the best way to end a long day?

doing the 二姐-ritual of arriving un-invited at 姐’s room. then 腾’s room. just to say hello. (:
